Privacy Policy

AJ Technology Company (“AJTC,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at www.ajtc.net (the “Site”), when you schedule time with us, when you receive text messages from us, and when you otherwise contact us, and how we use, share and protect that information.
This policy covers the Site and our marketing and communications. Information we handle while providing managed IT services to our clients is also governed by the agreement between AJTC and that client.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details such as your name, company, job title, email address and phone number when you book a call, email or call us, or become a client.
- Scheduling information you enter when booking an appointment through our scheduling tool, such as your preferred time and the topic of the meeting.
- Support and service information you provide when requesting help, such as the details of an issue, device information and communications with our team.
- Mobile phone number and text messaging consent when you opt in to receive text messages from us (see section 6).
Information collected automatically
- Usage information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click and the website that referred you, collected through Google Analytics.
- Device and connection information such as IP address, browser type, operating system and device type.
- Approximate location (country and state) derived from your IP address by our hosting provider. We use it only to show the contact details of the AJTC office nearest to you. We do not collect precise location.
- Cookies and similar technologies as described in section 4.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to your questions and schedule and hold meetings with you;
- provide, support and improve our IT services for clients;
- send service, support, scheduling and account communications, including text messages you have agreed to receive;
- show the phone number and office details nearest to you;
- understand how the Site is used and improve its content and performance;
- protect the Site, our clients and AJTC against fraud, abuse and security threats;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate our business, with:
- Service providers that host and secure the Site, provide analytics, run our scheduling, email and phone systems, and support our operations. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of AJTC, our clients or others.
- A successor organization if AJTC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Text messaging data is never shared for marketing. See section 6.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work, but your office selection will not be remembered. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
5. Third-party services
The Site relies on the following providers, each with its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the Site and protects it from attacks. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request data to do so. Cloudflare Privacy Policy

Our Client Resources page links to tools such as our client portal and remote support software. Those tools are governed by their own terms and by the agreement between AJTC and our clients.
6. Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to receive text messages from AJTC, we collect your mobile phone number and record of consent to send you the messages you agreed to receive, such as support and service notifications, appointment confirmations and reminders, and account communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and message delivery providers, is permitted. All other categories of information sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide services, meet legal, accounting and tax requirements, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Google Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
8. How we protect information
As an IT and cybersecurity provider, we take security seriously. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including encryption in transit, access controls and multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out, or contact us.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us.
- Cookies and analytics: see section 4.
- Access, correction and deletion: you may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it, subject to legal and contractual obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
